Our teaching labs are the best part of our major. That’s where we learn the most.

At Wayne State University we imagine what’s possible and then we make it real—from the stage and the laboratory to the classroom and the lecture hall. To accomplish this, we provide spaces where our students and faculty can put their ideas to work, make things and move from inspiration to action.

These spaces are the classrooms and laboratories, the rehearsal rooms and performance halls, the libraries, the art studios and exhibition spaces. But they’re also the study lounges, cafes and other meeting places that allow students and faculty to create a community.

Investing in this priority area supports the positive transformation of a modern, urban campus. Throughout the university, investment in new and refurbished spaces will foster the sharing of ideas, spur multidisciplinary projects and further establish Wayne State as a place to collaborate.

This is create, and it is a campus environment that nurtures new ways of thinking and doing.
