Parents are Wayne State University students’ best supporters. Through the parents’ annual giving program, parents make gifts to initiatives across the university — from scholarships and student programs to research and faculty support. Their generosity helps enhance the educational experience for current and future students.
While 66 percent of the cost to educate a Wayne State University student is covered by tuition, the remainder is paid for through state support and the generosity of alumni, parents and friends. Gifts to the university help Wayne State achieve its mission as a premier metropolitan research university. Every dollar contributed to scholarships, academic programs or student groups will help Wayne State students become tomorrow’s leaders.
